Kopaş Cosmetics is one of Türkiye's well-established manufacturers operating in the personal care and cosmetics sector, owning strong brands such as Dalin, Sesu, and Xo. With its broad product portfolio and high operational volume, it operates in both domestic and international markets.
Kopaş Cosmetics was running its operations through a fragmented, 3PL-based warehouse management system. However, they needed a fully integrated and regulated infrastructure that went beyond outsourced structures to allow for real-time monitoring of every step, from goods receipt to production, quality control, and shipping.

“SAP EWM eliminates geographical boundariesand integrates all warehouse processes end-to-endon a single intelligent platform."
———
We analyzed Kopaş Cosmetics' existing warehouse operations and redesigned all operational steps within the system. The key solutions we implemented as part of the project fundamentally changed the way the business is conducted.
All incoming processes, including supplier, subcontracting, customs, production, and returns, are now managed via SAP EWM and handheld terminals. This allows each incoming item to be recorded and tracked based on pallet (SSCC) and carton label.
Thanks to SAP PP integration, packaging and raw material feeding, weighing, production, and goods receiving processes are now managed within a single flow. Each pallet leaving production is verified by physical counting after palletizing and labeling, and compared with system records. In case of any quantity discrepancy, the process is automatically stopped and redirected to manual verification. In addition, if a quantity exceeding the reference value is entered during the palletizing phase, the system provides an immediate warning, preventing potential errors at the source.
Batch selection and picking tasks are now managed within SAP EWM using FEFO (Feed-for-Frequency) logic. Outgoing strategies are applied according to stock type. Picking lists are automatically triggered from the system, and shipping labels are printed via handheld terminals.
Control batches are automatically generated during goods receipt, inter-warehouse transfers, and in-warehouse checks; they are triggered by different types of controls at the time of goods acceptance and after storage is complete. Sampling operations are performed via handheld terminals, and the relevant cost for the collected sample is incurred on-site; stock type changes after usage decisions are processed instantly by the system.
Different storage strategies were developed for finished products, raw materials, packaging, export, damaged goods, and rejected areas. Material placement was standardized thanks to storage indicators specific to different storage types, such as cool and allergen-free zones.
