The add-on creates outgoing invoices, processes incoming invoices and transfers invoice data to the integration platform.

Your invoices contain sensitive pricing, customer and business information. With MDP Integration Platform, data processing and format conversion take place on your own servers or in your private cloud.
Local processing comes built into the solution. If you do not have a suitable integration platform, MDP Integration Platform is included for your e-invoicing processes at no additional platform licence cost.

The e-invoicing cockpit brings together incoming invoices, outgoing invoices and available processing statuses. Business teams can select documents, review invoice data and follow transmission progress within SAP.
The invoice format and transmission channel are determined by your business partners’ requirements.

A standard PDF without structured invoice data does not meet the definition of an e‑invoice applicable in Germany since 2025. Hybrid formats such as ZUGFeRD contain structured XML data in addition to the PDF document. Whether these formats meet e‑invoicing requirements depends on the version and profile used.
