IMPLEMENTATION OF SORT RULES FOR WAREHOUSE TASK IN THE RF SCREEN.
First, this implementation is valid for the RF screens which include confirmation of warehouse task. I try to explain on some example.
For example, when the Warehouse task is confirming in the ‘Selection by WO’ RF screen, the user wants sort the warehouse tasks according to source storage bins. In our example, warehouse order number is 2000029680. Also, the sorting of warehouse tasks in monitor, according to the size of the number so not by the source storage bins.
Therefore, the warehouse tasks are listed like warehouse monitor in the ‘Selection by WO’ RF screen. If you will perform these steps of sort implementation, the warehouse tasks are listed in the RF screen according to source storage bin.
1.Define Sort Rules
We need to define sort rules code and sort rule description in mentioned implementation. In addition, this step of implementation provides to assign warehouse number to the sort rules. Therefore, we have created sort rule for this user request as ‘Z002’ for the warehouse number.
Steps in implementation,
SPROSCM EWM EWM CROSS – PROCESS SETTING WAREHOUSE ORDER DEFINE SORT RULES FOR WAREHOUSE TASK DEFINE SORT RULES
For instance, Warehouse Number: CHM1
Sorting: Z002
Description: Pick list source bin sorting
2. Define Sort Fields
After we created the sorting rule, we should assign field name to the new created sorting rule. Also, the system determines sorting values according to field name.
Steps in the implementation,
SPRO SCM EWM EWM CROSS – PROCESS SETTING WAREHOUSE ORDER DEFINE SORT RULES FOR WAREHOUSE TASK DEFINE SORT FIELDS
For example, Warehouse Number: CHM1
Sequence Number: 1,2
Sorting Field: VLTYP, VLPLA
3. Assign Sorting Rule to The Warehouse Order Creation Rule
This implementation provides to answer is that ‘Which warehouse order creation rule is valid to the sorting rule? ‘. Therefore, we need to check warehouse order example at the monitor screen. When we check it, the WO creation rule is the ‘Z1PL’ for own warehouse order example.
Therefore, we will perform to fill field of WO Sorting column as ‘Z002’ for the WO creation rule which is ‘Z1PL’
Finally, we perform sorting in the monitor screen according to source storage bins, so we check again mentioned screen in the RF. It is listed according to the new created sorting rule for the mentioned example in the RF screen.
I performed to sort storage bins from small to the biggest in the monitor screen.
And then, we have checked warehouse task order in the RF screen because we are waiting the same RF and Monitor screen. the result is the same sorting of the warehouse task for the RF and monitor screen.
